Road to World Cup--How Ready are We?

For others it's the occasion of Valentine's Day!!! But for us.."The Cricket Fanatics", it's the biggest tournament around. Yes, I'm talking about the world cup . It's where all the elite teams go head to head, battle toe to toe...just to win the ultimate prize. Nothing gets bigger than this.


INDIA- The defending champions...currently not on a good run. The performance has not up to the scratch as it was expected from the new breed of Indian talents. Neither the batting clicked nor was the bowling up to the potential. This led to many speculations about whether this team is capable of defending the title? Or to be more specifically, are we even capable of at least giving a fight to the other top teams in the tournament?? Can our team cope up with the pressure of such an intense and tough tournament??


Well on a positive note, the moral of the team is very good. In interviews with many of the team players it has been seen that they are feeling comfortable and are ready. Our "captain cool", MSD, also states that the teams was just trying out all of its combinations in the build up and says that theirs nothing to worry about and the team is in a good frame of mind and is in good shape.


Hope so, the team does well in the cricketing extravaganza which we are going to witness from 14th February. After all we are the reigning, defending champions!!! Let's cheer our team out and have faith in them... #bleedblue #won'tgiveitback #worldcup!!
